Site news: Comatose

ngnl03Or I have been, symbolically anyway. For those that have found this site and enjoyed it, I apologize for my recent MIA issues. Real life has been giving me a few curve balls and with more of my time devoted to working, I’ve had less time for anime and, thus, less time for this site. However, I’m trying to get things back into swing. Tomorrow’s review is already written and scheduled with Saturday’s article also in process.

I do enjoy anime and I certainly don’t wish to drop this site entirely, though I am considering various other options for running it as it isn’t always easy (or possible) for me to keep up with writing a review a week. In addition to looking into having more guest reviews on here, what other things would you guys be interested in with a blog like this? Let me know in the comments or send me an email with any suggestions you might have (or to inquire about doing a guest review OR to suggest some shows you’d like reviewed next).

Other than that, enjoy tomorrow’s review and happy autumn!

About inrosegalaxy

Raised on everything from Moby Dick to the Star Wars X-Wing books from a young age, it came as no surprise to anyone who knew me that I’d become a literature graduate and avid writer. But my love of a good story wasn’t restricted to the written word in my early years. Star Trek, Mystery Science Theater 3000, and badly dubbed Godzilla flicks helped shape my love of science fiction on screen as well. I wrote my first story while in the second grade. It was a horrifying tale about murdering a fairy-eating dog via a slice of pizza (in my defense, my only exposure to pizza was in the cafeteria and I swear you could legitimately kill someone with those things). I was a special snowflake. Today I write science fiction, fairy tales, Gothic epistolaries, fantasy and anything else that pops into my bizarre and twisted mind. I write new articles for my blog every Tuesday and Thursday. And if you happen to fancy Japanese animation, I also run an anime review blog, RRAR, which updates every Monday.

  1. I don’t have any particular suggestions, but just wanted to say I’ll keep reading your blog regardless of how often you update. Of course it’d be great if all blogs I liked could update every week, but the reality is that a lot of people simply don’t have the time or energy to do so, which is totally understandable.

    • Thanks ^^
I just don’t want people to think this place is dead for good. Many a review site end up as such. I certainly don’t intend to leave this place in such a state, though I know one day it might occur. Between car issues, work and editing two of my novels, it’s hard to keep up.
Except when a show is really good. Must say, I reeeeally enjoyed Nozaki-kun.

      • Believe me, I know what you mean about trying to find the time to keep up. RL really knocks people about sometimes!

Oh yes! I loved Nozaki-kun, even though I had never originally intended to watch it at all. Definitely my biggest (pleasant) surprise of last season.
